Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Northspread — the website, dashboard, mock exams, formula sheets, question archive, and journal published at northspread.in (the "Service"), operated by Anshora LLP ("Northspread", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time as described in "Changes to These Terms" below — continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

Northspread provides exam-preparation content for NISM certifications, including free formula reference sheets, a public archive of practice questions, editorial "journal" content, and — for paid subscribers — a dashboard with worked examples, mock exams, and performance analytics. Some content is free and publicly accessible without an account; some content and features require account registration; some require an active paid ("Pro") entitlement as described below.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase on Northspread. Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Free & Pro Content

Formula sheets, the public question archive, and journal articles are free to browse without a paid subscription. Worked numerical examples, mock exams, and dashboard analytics are reserved for users with an active Pro entitlement. We may change what is free vs. Pro-gated at any time, and may add, modify, or retire content as our syllabus coverage evolves.

Payments & Pricing

Prices for Pro access are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, and are processed through a third-party payment gateway — we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details on our servers. A Pro entitlement grants access for the plan duration stated at the time of purchase; it is not an auto-renewing subscription unless explicitly stated as such at checkout. Pro access is considered fully delivered upon activation. Refunds and cancellations are governed exhaustively by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which you should read before purchasing — by completing a purchase you acknowledge that refunds are available only in the limited circumstances described there, and not on the basis of change of mind or non-use.

Educational Purpose — Not Investment Advice

All mock exams, calculators, valuation models, case studies, and worked examples on Northspread are published strictly for educational and exam-preparation purposes. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice, a stock or fund recommendation, or portfolio management services, and nothing should be relied upon as such. Northspread is not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst or Investment Adviser, and using the Service does not create an advisory relationship of any kind.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or Pro entitlement with anyone else, or access the Service using credentials that are not your own;
• Copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or publicly republish Northspread's questions, formulas, worked examples, or journal content;
• Use any automated system (bot, scraper, crawler outside of standard search-engine indexing) to access the Service;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or circumvent the Service's access controls, including the Pro paywall;
• Upload or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful to the Service or other users.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, without refund, as described in "Termination" below.

Intellectual Property

All content on Northspread — including questions, formulas, worked examples, explanations, journal articles, design, branding, and underlying software — is owned by Northspread or its licensors and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. A Pro entitlement grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access this content for your own personal exam preparation. No license is granted to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it.

Third-Party Links & Advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display advertising served by third-party ad networks. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, nor for the content of ads served on the Service. Interacting with third-party links or ads is at your own risk and subject to that third party's own terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including — without limitation — warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. While we make reasonable efforts to keep formulas, questions, and worked examples accurate and current with the applicable syllabus, we do not guarantee that content is free of errors or that it reflects the most recent regulatory or curriculum changes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Northspread and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or exam outcomes, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Northspread in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice (such as an on-site notice or email). Your continued use of the Service after a revised version takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or a purchase (including any dispute over a refund) shall first be addressed by contacting support@northspread.in, and if not resolved within 30 days, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Balaghat, India, conducted in English, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Northspread. This clause does not restrict your right, where mandatorily available under applicable consumer-protection law, to instead bring a claim before a consumer forum with jurisdiction. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at Balaghat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter not subject to arbitration.
